Confirmation of the commercial partners involved in the 2003/ 04 ACU British Winter Supermoto Championship will be announced in a separate press release scheduled to be released around the 19th November (next week).  At this time, the Championship website will be fully updated to include a host of ancillary information relating to the Championship prize fund, media coverage, event timings, entry lists etc

Last year’s Championship attracted many riders from outside Supermoto, in an action reminiscent of the original beginnings of the sport where riders from all disciplines of motorcycle racing competed on a track layout that favoured none of them in particular.

This year’s Championship has again attracted riders from other disciplines; Jamie Whitham, Michael Laverty, Glen Richards, John McGuiness and Stuart Easton to name but a few of those with confirmed entries so far.  In addition the UK’s top Supermoto regulars including; Christian Iddon, Ady Smith, Warren Steele and Leighton Haigh plus there are also one or two star European Supermoto riders who will visit the UK this winter and we are happy to announce that crowd favourite Danny Muller has already booked his flights from Switzerland in readiness!

The British Motor Cycle Racing Club will organize all the rounds of the 2003/ 04 ACU British Winter Supermoto Championship and their details may be found on the ‘Contact’ page of the website.  BMCRC are keen to continually evolve UK Supermoto and certainly put on a great display at the British round of the Maxxis Supermotard European Championship held at Lydden Hill in October this year.  Any queries in relation to Championship regulations or requirements should be directed to the Secretary of the meeting at BMCRC in the first instance.
